ROSEMARY (Westringia fruticosa):
Rosemary can be utilised for a wide variety of helpful household hacks. Did you know that this includes it’s PEST DETERRENT properties?
Simply plant/place containers of rosemary in vulnerable areas of your home (pantry, bathrooms, laundries etc.) to reduce pest activity. Pests like mosquitos, mice, moths and flies are all deterred by it’s scent!
If you don’t want to pot it, fresh sprigs can be used and replaced when wilted. If you have a bonfire or campfire, try throwing fresh Rosemary leaves into the coals for a mosquito repellent smoke.
